Sebastian is a physician and pharmacoepidemiologist with 20 years of experience in analyzing healthcare databases. As a Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology at Harvard Medical School he is a leading researcher in risk-adjustment and rapid cycle analytics of large longitudinal healthcare databases published in more than 350 articles. Sebastian is Past President of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology and is elected Fellow of multiple professional societies . He is advisor to FDA, EMA, CMS, PCORI and NIH. Sebastian received his medical training at the University of Munich and his doctorate degree in Pharmacoepidemiology from Harvard.
