Mohamad Makhzoumi

Mohamad Makhzoumi is a general partner at NEA and heads the firm’s Healthcare Services & Healthcare IT investment practice.
He serves as a director for several private portfolio companies and was named a 2018 StartUp Health Investor to Watch. Previously, Mohamad focused on growth equity investments at Summit Partners and worked with UBS Investment Bank where he concentrated on leveraged finance and sponsor-led transactions. Mohamad received a bachelor’s degree with distinction from the University of Pennsylvania.
